The CarLink™ works with most vehicles from 2016 or newer that have factory wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto already built-in. Not sure if you have it? Just plug your phone into your car's USB port — if CarPlay or Android Auto appears on your screen, you're good to go or watch this video (the video also can be used to check for Android Auto). Your phone will need to be running iOS 10 or newer for iPhone, or Android 11 or newer for Android devices. Make sure to plug the CarLink into a USB data port (the same one you'd normally use for wired CarPlay), not a charge-only port.
Please note: The CarLink is not compatible with Sony aftermarket head units or cars that only have Bluetooth audio without wired CarPlay/Android Auto. If you drive a Mitsubishi, please leave a note at checkout or contact us before ordering so we can confirm compatibility.
